Dishes in the gift exchange with Tay and what their next album will sound like erectile dysfunction.
I'm pretty convinced that there is nothing Taylor Swift cannot do. She can sing, act and cook a mean batch of cupcakes. She is also a BFF for many, and as we learned this week, it is also a great gift giving!
During Ed Sheeran MTV documentary, "Nine Days and Nights," Ed showed off a Christmas gift from Taylor, a work of crafty needle Drake's famous phrase "began from below."
And what did Ed Taylor give in return? Well ... a plate.
But not just any dish that gave Taylor (who also gave an Ed camera) - it was a very special dish.
"I had a dish which was a silver plate with all dates [Red] Tourist engraved on it, which took a while to do," said Ed during "MTV Presents Live from the Ed Sheeran after Show." "I tried to rush the guy up .... I did not want to say who it was. Think he just thought I was a super fan Taylor Swift get gigs. I was like, 'Dude, come on, Christmas is coming.' "
Ed joined Taylor for six months as his opening act on the Red tour in 2013, and it was there where he wrote many of the songs from his upcoming album, multiply. But unfortunately for Sheerios, none of that writing was done with Taylor.
"Taylor was in the position where she launched Red and she just wants to go and she'll think about the next album when she's done," said Ed "But definitely played his songs [wrote], but there was never a point in which we said, 'Let's write a song,' cause she's like, 'I've only done one album.' "
So that also means we will not have a repeat of their duet, "everything has changed", we hope that the next album Taylor. In fact, Taylor, who recently called his upcoming fifth album of his "favorite", is working on this project alone.
"I do not think she was associated with anyone. Believe he did it all on your own it really good," Ed said before adding that fans should not expect another album Red. "She has to evolve. If she makes another worldwide network will be like, 'Sounds like Red.' But it has evolved and I think it's a positive step."
