Ed Sheeran To Play Biggest Solo Show To Date At Wembley

Two number one albums in the UK, check. A set in the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury check. Three sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden in New York, check.

It is safe to say Ed Sheeran's got some pretty big achievements of his 23-year-old belt.

But now the singer has announced plans for more solo gig to date at Wembley Stadium on July 10, 2015.

He said: "I have made no secret of my ambition recently played Wembley Stadium on my own in front of 80,000 people.

"I'm absolutely over the moon to announce that it will happen next summer. It's going to be amazing, just I cannot wait."

The show will be part of his world tour multiply and continues its 21 shows sold out in the UK earlier this year.

Thinking Aloud became the second UK number one single for Ed Sheeran in July after Sing topped the charts in June.

Both tracks are taken from the singer's second album number one X, pronounced Multiply, who spent eight weeks at the top of the British charts.

It also reached number one in the US and Europe and has sold over three million copies worldwide to date.

Tickets for the show of Ed Sheeran in Wembley Stadium will go on sale on November 26.
